Star Wars Paper Piecing

I made this paper pieced layout yesterday using my Silhouette Cameo and a SVG file from Treasure Box Designs, titled Out of this Galaxy.  I sewed the photo mats with a zigzag stitch and made journaling tags that slip behind the small square mats. I used a border die to cut the top border and glued the stars that were punched out onto the main background. All pieces were shaded with chalk to give definition before being glued together. The entire 2 page layout is 12"x 24".

I am entering this in the following challenges:
Crafty Boots -All Squared Up
Ooh La La -Anything Goes
Artistic Inspirations -Anything Goes
As You Like It -Favorite Song/Film  Why?-I saw the first Star Wars movie as a teen and making this layout brings back fond memories.
Chalk N Stock -Anything goes with chalking
Lil Patch of Crafty Friends -Anything Goes
Not Just Cards -Anything Goes
Your Scrapbook Place -Anything Goes
Pixie's Crafty Workshop -Snippets -I used lots of snippets on this set as it is all paper pieced from small bits of cardstock.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!
